Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By using our travel services, including booking trips, Experiences, and other travel-related services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Booking, Reservation and Payment

Booking: All travel bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Goan Friend. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking for any reason.

Reservations for Experiences: You are responsible for confirming that you, and anyone you invite, meet minimum age, proficiency, fitness or other requirements. You are responsible for informing the Host of any medical or physical conditions, or other circumstances that may impact your ability to participate, attend or use our Services.

Payment: To confirm your reservation,you have to pay the total fees (for all participants). Please be sure to confirm your reservations at least 72 hrs prior to the activity. If your payment is not received by the cut off time, your reservation may not be carried out.

Private Reservation: A private reservation can be made if you want the whole experience or activity to yourself. The charges for the private slot will differ from the above mentioned charges.

Price Inclusion: Please note that the prices only cover the costs of Equipment, trekking and guiding. Transportation and meals are not included in the price unless mentioned in the “Things to know section”.

Mind at ease: We do not charge any additional or hidden fees. Any equipment/lure loss at sea, rod/reel breaking, as long as it is an unintentional incident.

Booking Modifications: Guests and Hosts are responsible for any booking modifications they agree to make via the our Platform or direct our customer service to make on their behalf ("Booking Modifications"), and agree to pay any additional amounts, fees, or taxes associated with any Booking Modification.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by the Guest: Our standard cancellation policy is that you can get a full refund for any experience if you cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start, or within 24 hours of purchasing the experience provided the cancellation is 48 hours prior to the activity. Rescheduling can only be requested 48 hours prior to the activity. Easy enough!

Cancellation by The Goan Friend: We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or force majeure events. In such cases, a full refund will be offered.

Refund Policy

Booking and Cancellation
1.1. To confirm a reservation for an adventure activity, customers are required to make a full or partial payment, as specified during the booking process.
1.2. Cancellations must be made in writing (via text or through our email) within the specified cancellation period to be eligible for a refund. The cancellation period and refund eligibility may vary depending on the type of adventure activity and associated costs.
Refund Eligibility
2.1. Full Refunds: Customers who cancel their reservation within the designated cancellation period and meet all other refund requirements are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
To get a full refund for any experience if you cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start, or within 24 hours of purchasing the experience provided the cancellation is 48 hours prior to the activity.

2.3. No Refunds: No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the specified cancellation period or for customers who fail to show up for the activity (no-shows).

Refund Processing
3.1. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original booking, unless otherwise agreed upon.
3.2. Processing times for refunds may vary depending on the payment provider and may take up to 2-3 Business days to be reflected in the customer's account.

Activity Changes or Cancellations by Us
4.1. The Goan Friend reserves the right to modify or cancel an activity due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, safety concerns.
4.2. In the event of an activity cancellation by the company, customers will be offered the choice of rescheduling the activity or receiving a full refund.

Force Majeure
5.1. The Goan Friend shall not be held responsible for any delays, changes, or cancellations caused by force majeure events, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, or government actions.
5.2. In such cases, The Goan Friend will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative solutions, but no refunds will be issued for force majeure-related changes or cancellations.

4. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. Travel insurance is not included in our service.

5. Changes to Itinerary

While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate changes. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to factors such as weather conditions, local events, or safety concerns. We will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives.

6. Guest Responsibilities
1.1. Guests are expected to behave responsibly and follow the rules and regulations of the destinations visited. Any behavior that may endanger the safety or enjoyment of others may result in the traveler being removed from the trip, with no refund provided.
Guest responsibilities when participating in adventure activities:
1.2. Following Instructions:
Guests must attentively listen to and follow the instructions given by the activity organizers, guides, or instructors. These instructions may include safety guidelines, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
1.3. Fitness and Health:
Guests should assess their physical fitness and health condition before participating in the activity. If they have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, they must inform the organizers beforehand.
1.4. Proper Use of Equipment:
Guests must use all provided equipment in the correct manner and only as instructed by the guides or instructors. This includes wearing safety gear, harnesses, helmets, etc., when required.
1.5. Abiding by Rules and Regulations:
Guests should adhere to all rules, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the activity organizers or governing bodies. This may include age restrictions, weight limits, and behavioral expectations.
1.6. Respect for Environment and Wildlife:
Guests must respect the natural environment and wildlife encountered during the activity. This may include avoiding littering, staying on designated paths, and refraining from disturbing animals.
1.7. Responsible Behavior:
Guests should act responsibly and considerately towards fellow participants, guides, and the local community. Disruptive or reckless behavior that endangers others may lead to removal from the activity.
2.1. Understanding Risks:
Guests must acknowledge and understand the risks associated with the adventure activity. They should make an informed decision based on their capabilities and willingness to accept these risks.
2.2. Reporting Medical Conditions:
Guests should inform the guides or instructors of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect their participation or require special attention during the activity.
2.3. Emergency Contact Information:
Guests may be asked to provide emergency contact information. It is essential to provide accurate and up-to-date details in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Goan Friend will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or expense arising from factors beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, civil unrest, or government actions.
8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on our website and promotional materials belong to The Goan Friend and may not be used without our prior written consent.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
